This is a skirt made up of vintage neckties sewn in a Crazy Quilt pattern. The maxi skirt is late 1960’s vintage with some of the ties going back into the late 40’s. The skirt has a waistband , metal zipper up side, plastic button over 2 hook and eye closures. The skirt is long to floor length, has a slight flare shape and 2 small notches cut into each side at hemline. The skirt has great detailed hand stitching around each tie panel . The skirt is fully lined in 50’s floral acetate.
