Ha! What can I say? Do you remember these? I was looking through some old craft books recently and saw a pattern for a purse made from cut up pieces of bleach bottles, then sewn together with yarn. It reminded me of these bleach bottle purses from the 70s. I just had to make one. This one isn’t actually made from a bleach bottle, but close enough. 😀

I just punched holes around the plastic bottle. Did a row of single crochets through the holes, then a bunch of double crochet rounds. Put the drawstring through it. That’s it.

I wish I had cut the bottle down shorter. I think it would have been cuter.
