Polypropylene strapping is one of the more popular types of strapping. It’s cheaper than PET strapping and used for light to medium bundling. It comes in various colours, widths and thicknesses. With elastic properties, it’s less likely to deform or corrode so suited for situations where loads or pallets may be stored for long amounts of time.
Polyester strapping is glossy and smooth. Polypropylene strapping has a matte finish and is usually embossed.
