Polyester strapping is the most commonly used strapping material. It’s both strong and durable and ideal for packing loads that may shift during transit as it retains high tension for long periods.

What’s the difference?

It is stronger than PP strapping, can be tensioned more; it won’t relax or elongate like polypropylene strap. It’s also more temperature resistant than polypropylene strapping.

Polyester strapping is glossy and smooth. Polypropylene strapping has a matte finish and is usually embossed.
