Woven mat

Use any suitable number of old postal cards.
1. Cut the cards lengthwise into thirds as you see in the chart.
2. Valley fold on the dotted lines.
3. The fold should look like this. Fold a number of them.
4. Weave four of them together as you see in this step.
5. weave a number of these sections of four, and join them as you see in this step.
6. When you have a mat the size you want fold the ends under as you see in this step and cut off the projecting ends.
